A sweet thick tomato sauce.
|1/2 cup||Brown Sugar, packed|
|1 tsp.||Dry Mustard|
Combine the Ketchup, Brown Sugar, Dry Mustard and Nutmeg in a 2 cup or larger container and stir to blend to a uniform color and consistency.
Put all of the cold sauce on the top and sides of a meatloaf when it is almost done and return to the oven to finish.
Do not heat or cook the sauce before applying to the meatloaf as this would thin it and cause most of it run off the meatloaf and into the pan.
