A sweet salad with a cauliflower and lettuce base that you make a day in advance.

Ingredients:

18 slices Bacon, 1 lb. raw
1 head Lettuce
1 head Cauliflower
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Onions, chopped
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
3/4 cup Sugar

Directions:

Fry the Bacon until crisp and drain on a paper towel.

Break the Lettuce into bite size pieces and place in the bottom of a 4 quart or larger bowl which has a tight fitting lid.  Break the Cauliflower tops into bite size pieces and layer atop the lettuce.  Spread the Mayonnaise over the cauliflower.  Sprinkle the Onions evenly over the mayonnaise.  Crumble the bacon evenly over the mayonnaise.  Sprinkle the Parmesan Cheese evenly over the bacon.  Sprinkle the Sugar evenly over the Parmesan cheese.  Cover tightly and refrigerate 24 hours.

Just before serving, toss thoroughly.
