A sweet, crunchy pecan topping baked atop a pumpkin pie.
1/4 cup | Butter |
1 cup | Pecans |
1/4 cup | Light Brown Sugar, firmly packed |
In a one pint or larger microwave safe bowl, melt the Butter. Stir in the Pecans. Stir in the Light Brown Sugar until blended.
When your pumpkin pie has only 20 minutes baking time left, sprinkle the topping evenly over the top of the partially baked pie. Continue baking an additional 30 minutes (yes, that's 10 minutes more than you would have), or until a clean knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
