A warm cheesy shrimp dip served with crackers.
|1 8-oz. pkg.||Cream Cheese, softened|
|1 lb.||Salad Shrimp, cooked|
|1 tsp.||Lemon Juice|
|3 dashes||Worcestershire Sauce|
|3 dashes||Garlic Salt|
Soften Cream Cheese at room temperature in advance (or hasten softening by microwaving for 20 seconds). If shrimp are frozen, thaw by rinsing in a colander under cold water and drain.
Spread the Salad Shrimp in a single layer on paper towels, cover with paper towels and pat dry. Thin slice the Green Onions.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a 1 to 1&1/2 quart casserole dish, combine the cream cheese, Mayonnaise, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce and Garlic Salt to a uniform consistency. Add the shrimp and green onions and stir to coat evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with crackers.
I enjoy this with Nabisco's Wheatsworth® crackers, but they seem to be getting hard to find.
