Wouldn't you think that "converted" gays would refer to themselves as straight, rather than ex-gay ? So I think I'll refer to myself as ex-straight, even though I don't believe anyone can change or be changed.
I included this page because all things queer are as big a hobby of
mine as personal computing or eating.
So why does it follow Extras you ask?
Because it had to have the purple color scheme silly.
A baker in Colorado said it is his religious freedom and right
to refuse to make a wedding cake for same sex couples.
The court said it is discrimination.
Here is the proof that the court is right.
He is not saying he refuses to make wedding cakes for all sinners
or that he will only make wedding cakes for saints.
So what makes these sinners different from the other sinners
for whom he makes wedding cakes?
Discrimination.
An original quote from me.
Maria Shriver left Arnold Schwarzenegger after learning he had a child
with a longtime member of their household staff, but he still vetoed
California marriage equality bills, twice.
I guess that was his way of making up for his own inability to uphold
the sanctity of marriage.
An original quote from me.
from Perry v. Schwarzenegger in the Federal 9th District Court:
It is okay to limit marriage to heterosexuals because only
they need to be channeled into the institution to protect the
children of their irresponsible procreation.
Homosexuals do not procreate irresponsibly and therefore their
children do not need the protection of the institution of marriage,
so homosexuals should not be allowed access to the institution.
A paraphrase from Charles Cooper's closing argument in defense of California's Proposition 8
from the Gay & Lesbian Leadership SmartBrief:
Senator, when you took your oath of office, you placed your hand on
the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution.
You didn't place your hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the
Bible.
Jamie Raskin, a constitutional law professor, testifying before a Maryland Senate committee in response to a question from Republican Sen. Nancy Jacobs about whether marriage discrimination against gay people is required by "God's Law."
